The Happy Feed

Take What You Need

For some, this time of year is merry and bright
But for others, it can be the most challenging season.

Regardless of where you land on the spectrum,
Take time for self care.
Make space for reflection.
And give yourself permission to rest and recharge.

Journal Prompt:

How can you take better care of yourself this holiday season?

How do you change the world?

How do you change the world?

It’s not the bold actions.

It’s the tiny gestures.
The warm smiles.
The listening ears.

It’s loving with your whole heart.
And sharing acceptance and light and joy as often as you can.

Be someone else’s peace.
Be someone else’s support system.

That’s how you change the world.

By being a normal person that loves extraordinarily.

Today is the day

Today is the day

To reach out

To start looking

To make a plan

To start a goal

To get back to the gym

To rest

To put yourself back out there

To open up

To say, “I love you”

To finally break up with them

To break through

To break out

To break open

Today is the day.

Follow the Peace. Release the Negativity.

What if your peace is too valuable to let one small thing ruin your day?

Journal Prompt:

Think about something that currently frustrates you. What are you learning from this situation? How is this experience preparing you for the next stage in your life?

Hope Lives In Each Brushstroke

There’s something deeper that is calling all of us

To walk in our purpose

To make

To do

To create

To live out loud

And love with our whole hearts

Journal Prompt:

What’s one small way you can live out loud today?

You Know It’s Time For A Reset

There will be days when it feels like everything is falling apart.

There will be days when you feel like you don’t want to keep trying.

And there will be challenges that will seem too big to face.

It’s inevitable.
For better or for worse, that’s life.

But here’s what you should remember.

It’s okay to feel sad.

Don’t try to push it away.
Feel those feelings with your whole heart.
Cry if you need to.
Find a therapist.
Talk about it.
Journal through it.

But make sure to give yourself a time limit.

Then dry your eyes, make a plan, and get back to living.

Journal Prompt:

What’s one place in your life where you feel stuck? What’s one small first step you can take to get unstuck?
