Here are a few reasons why you may need a reset
And just so we’re clear: Your life doesn’t need to be in shambles to need a reset. Sometimes you need to slow down and evaluate how things are going and make some tiny adjustments to build the life you love.
01. You’ve been running on autopilot.
Going through the motions of your day-to-day life; Instead of actually experiencing it.
02. You’ve been slacking on taking care of your physical and mental health.
That self-care routine only works if you’re willing to follow through.
03. You’re stuck in a negative thought pattern.
No matter what you do, you can never see the glass half full. It feels too hard to see the opportunity and joy that life has to offer.
04. You don’t have work/life harmony.
Maybe you feel like your life is all work and no play. Or maybe you just can’t figure out how to balance all your responsibilities.
05. You’re constantly comparing yourself to other people.
Comparison is the thief of joy. It’s important to remember how valuable you are as a human being.
Lemme tell you, I’ve been in need of a reset more times than I’d like to admit.
If you’re ready to take the first step towards designing a life you love, I put together a free video workshop called:

There are officially 49 days until the release of my new book, The Reset Workbook. One of the best and most meaningful ways to support me and the work that I do is to pre-order your copy from Amazon. For every preorder, Amazon will purchase two additional copies. If you have the resources to preorder five copies that’s even better.

How to do any creative project
1. Decide on what you want to do. Every journey starts with a decision.
Select a creative project that speaks to your heart, something you are genuinely passionate about because your enthusiasm will be your driving force throughout the project.
2. Go after the goal with your full heart and assume that it’s going to work out.
Approach it with unwavering commitment. Embrace the belief that your effort will pay off in the end. This positive mindset is essential, as it fuels your determination and helps you overcome obstacles.
3. When you feel like giving up… keep going.
Creative projects are not always smooth sailing. You may encounter setbacks, self-doubt, or the temptation to quit. When these moments arise, remember your initial enthusiasm and push forward. The most significant breakthroughs happen when you push through fear.
4. Celebrate the journey.
Upon completion, revel in your achievement. Regardless of the outcome, relish the fact that you followed your passion and saw the project through. Creative endeavors are a labor of love, and it’s crucial to detach from any specific outcomes. The journey itself is a reward, a testament to your dedication and creativity.

I didn’t really talk about it, but since May 2022, I’ve been in the middle of a health scare. I finally posted about it on social media. (In case you missed it)
I just started reading a lush, regency romance novel with a black lead. Aphrodite Duke by J.J. McAvoy is absolutely for you if you enjoyed Bridgerton.

Me You & God by Jidenna has been on repeat in my house. The album explores intimacy in all its beautiful forms with a funky 70s vibe.
The album got me thinking more about why so many people are non-monogamous. And this article helped me think about it a little deeper.
