After coming across a tweet that listed underrated shows the author didn’t believe people watched, I felt inspired to create my own list.

Popular – A dramatic comedy set in a high school where rival queen bees become stepsisters. This show had my friend group in a chokehold in the early aughts. I miss the WB.

Suburgatory – It was basically “As Told by Ginger,” but with real humans. A single dad moves his daughter to a boring suburb outside of New York, and comedy ensues.

Selfie – This contemporary update of “My Fair Lady” follows a social media obsessed pharmaceutical sales rep who learns the importance of offline friendships from her incredibly handsome and boring coworker.

Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 – This is a contemporary update of the 90s movie classic “Party Girl,” where a small-town girl moves to New York and befriends a lovable scammer who’s randomly friends with James Van Der Beek.

Being Human – This British comedy horror follows a werewolf, ghost, and vampire who share an apartment and try to live a “normal” life.

If you have watched any of these shows, please reply to let me know. Sometimes I feel like I made them up.
